Mrs. Lacey Elliott

It has been a pleasure serving as the assistant principal of IRIC for the last three years, and I am elated to begin my journey as the principal of this amazing school! As a school community, we have been through some tremendous challenges together, and I look forward to new beginnings and paving the way for reconnection, deep learning and fun. I truly believe it takes a village and look forward to connecting with all stakeholders in our school community and bringing our village together to raise healthy, happy children. 

My family and I live near Gull Lake, where we enjoy country life with our slobbery saint bernard. Having grown up on an acreage outside of Penhold, I have an immense appreciation for rural and small town life. My family spends much of our time outdoors camping, fishing, gardening and exploring together. And while our summer adventures were fabulous, I am very excited to get back to school and welcome all of our students! 

I take great pride in the team at IRIC - the staff here are highly skilled, dedicated professionals who go above and beyond to help students succeed. We cannot wait to welcome our students for what will, no doubt, be an extraordinary year.
